MGM Studios V. Grogster LTD

This copyright case was filed in 2003 by MGM Studios and 28 other entertainment companies against Grogster and Steamcast because they offered a file sharing system of stored information such as movies, books and music. Grogster replied that “If the movie copyright were to be found in favor of plainlift, that it would create potential grounds for movie copyright organizations to seek damages in a number of previous acts believed to be related with peer to peer file sharing and copyright infringement.” Later on that year, the charges were dismissed due to its parallels to the Sony Corp v. Universal Studios movie copyright case and its final verdict.

Tracking Theresa

Theresa gave out the information that she is a female teen, phone number, moms and brothers name, her name, area where she lives, and at what time she is usually home. I have not put personal information on the Internet. Deputy Krupp says the most important thing to remember online is your common sense. I watched another video about the survivors. They were 2 guys who trusted someone online. One of the guys was picked up outside his house and met the person. He was to ashamed to tell anyone. But when he saw the car that picked him up driving around his neighborhood, he finally decided to tell someone. He said that he will remember that for the rest of his life.
