Netiquette

Netiquette is network etiquette. It is a set of standards you are supposed to use wen your online. The core rules of netiquette are, remember the human, adhere to the same standards of behavior online that you would use in real life, know where you are in cyberspace, respect others time and bandwidth, make yourself look good online, share expert knowledge, help keep flame wars under control, respect othe people's privacy, don't abuse you power, and be forgiving of other peoples mistakes.

  

Technology Article

Blockbuster is starting a new service for streaming movies through the internet. It is giving people a reason to leave netflix and join blockbuster. More people are now using blockbuster instead of netflix. http://www.sacbee.com/2011/09/23/3932509/blockbuster-expected-to-announce.html says that netfix's stock plunged 50% since july because of the blockbuster streaming service.

RSS Feeds

An RSS feed makes it quicker and easier to search through new things on your favorite websites. I would use google reader to search through my favorite websites and search on my friends blog. There are a lot more people on http://www.go2web20.net/ that are registered to the site than the people on my google reader and a lot of people post things about facebook and twitter when our google reader is a class system.

Delicious

Delicious is a place where you can add websites to help other people search and you can look up websites that other people have added to narrow down your search. I think that it is useful because you can have a quicker search and check out sites that other people have already checked out to make the search easier. I can use it if i am doing reaserch for a class project to make my searches quicker and easier. I can also get better websites to look at.

Technology and Me

I am not very good with technology. I can never figure out what to do with my computer. I am always listening to music and I do not have a cell phone. I love to take pictures on my camera. I  also like to watch videos and make them with my friends. They do the editing because I don't know how to and we never post them because it makes us look stupid and they are kind of embarassing.
